For over 45 years, Rycote Dental Practice has been renowned for providing high quality private dental care. Since 1998, our team, led by Dr. Nicholas Socrates, has been dedicated to providing all aspects of dentistry to exacting standards.
We believe in providing a very personal approach to your dental needs and will endeavour to make your visits as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Whatever your problem, whatever your age, we will help you find the solution.
State of the art technology
Each year we devote a considerable amount of time to postgraduate training, keeping us abreast of new techniques and up-to-date with current thinking and evidence based science. Using these techniques and materials, we will help you and your family achieve the best possible dental health.
In 2013 we relocated from our “tucked-away” location in the old part of Aylesbury to larger, improved facilities on Aylesbury’s Friarage Road.
Our brand new state-of-the-art building also has plenty of dedicated parking behind the practice on Mount Street.
At Rycote Dental Practice, we are committed to keeping up with the modern techniques, materials and technology used in dentistry today. Through continuous education and employing modern-day science, we ensure that we can provide you with the highest level of care available.
Over the years, our aim has always been to provide the most current, scientifically-based dental treatment available in a gentle, caring and respectful manner.
Our new practice has been designed to provide maximum comfort for staff and patients alike. Whether attending for a simple procedure, or more complex restorative treatment, we will listen very carefully to your individual aspirations, goals and needs. This allows us to offer the very best dental solutions to help fulfil these.
Our team is devoted to providing personalised attention and unparalleled care to every patient.
Waterlase dentistry is one of the most advanced dental treatments available to Dentists today. It uses a patented technology that combines focused light energy with a stream of water for a highly precise, exceptionally gentle dental experience.
Waterlase allows your dentist to perform a wide range of procedures with benefits including…
- Less pain and faster healing time, with less trauma to teeth and gums
- Less usage of anesthetic for most procedures
- Treatment of more than one part of the mouth in one visit, eliminating referrals and specialist visits in many cases
- Making dental care a more relaxing experience for you
The mouth is a tiny, dark, shadowy place. We have invested in a state-of-the-art Zeiss Extaro operating microscope, similar those used in eye surgery. This allows us to illuminate with LED lights and magnify areas of the mouth. This increased detail allows for better diagnostic treatments and outcomes.
